1. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding agreement to use Goolak, and you must be at least 18 years old.
2. Your account
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. One account per person. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Fair play
To keep the game fair, you agree not to:
- create multiple or fake accounts;
- use bots, scripts, or other automated methods;
- tamper with, exploit, or disrupt the app or its scoring;
- harass other users or post unlawful or offensive content.
We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules.
4. Predictions and points
Points are awarded for predictions according to the scoring rules shown in the app. Match data is supplied by third-party providers and may occasionally contain errors or delays. We may correct points or results to fix mistakes, and our scoring decisions are final.
5. Goolak Premium subscription
Goolak Premium is an optional, auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features. It is never required to play.
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable.
6. User content
You are responsible for content you add, such as league names and cover images. You must have the right to use it, and it must not be unlawful, infringing, or offensive. You grant us a limited license to display this content within the app to operate the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
7. Intellectual property
Goolak, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by GameCooks Company and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer it.
8. Independence and trademarks
Goolak is an independent app. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any football league, federation, association, or governing body. “World Cup” and other event and team names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for descriptive purposes only.
9. Disclaimers
Goolak is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that match data will be fully accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameCooks Company and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, Goolak.
11. Termination
You may stop using Goolak and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Goolak after changes means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of Lebanon, except where local law gives you other rights.
